Marzena Diakun

Award-winning conductor Marzena Diakun came to international acclaim in Paris during the 2015/16 season after several concerts with Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. With the new season 2020/21 she becomes First Invited Guest Conductor with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris.

Recent engagements include Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Liverpool Philharmonic, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, National Warsaw Philharmonic, Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias, Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orquestra Sinfónica do Estado de São Paulo, Jeaner Philharmoniker, Deutsche-Staatsphilharmonic Rheinland-Pfalz, Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie, Göteborg Opera, National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Lubljana, Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara, Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne.

 

In 2015, Diakun was a recipient of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Conducting Fellowship at Tanglewood Music Festival and won the Marin Alsop's Taki Concordia Fellowship. Diakun also received the „Kreatywni Wrocławia” award, and she was nominated to the „Wrocław Music Award” in 2015. She was „Artist of the Year” in 2013 and obtained the „Koszalin Eagle” award.
